The Peak celebrated its 8th birthday on Sunday, Feb. 11. In his sermon, Pastor Kyle spoke about the church and what it stands for, which led one first-time visitor to state he was all in and wanted to join the church that day! The Peak was surprised with a beautiful birthday message from 519 outside of their main doors, which led into their lobby. With festive decor, a photo booth and plenty of desserts, it was an exciting place to congregate.

Fiesta Cristiana celebrated its 9th anniversary with tamales and cake, while also receiving love and celebration from 519 and The Peak in the form of chalk decorations and balloons! Fiesta began 10 years ago as an outreach ministry to the Hispanic/Latino population in Apex. The following year, Fiesta began to meet once a month to worship, and finally grew into weekly services. Each year, like our sister communities of faith, we wonder whether we should celebrate 9, 10 or 11 years of ministry! This history has shown how good God has been in times of great upheaval within our community and our resiliency to stand fast in the peace of the Lord. We are grateful for 9, 10 and 11 years of ministry and the movement of God still among with us in the many years to come.
