2017 ALL IN CAMPAIGN
The goal of having an all-in campaign is to also have an all-in budget – one annual budget to cover both our mortgage and our annual operating expenses. The hope of our leadership teams is to simplify and clarify giving, continue to offer transparent financial communication, and mitigate the need for a separate capital campaign in the foreseeable future.
We believe in financial transparency and our desire is for you to know how your generosity is making a difference in helping our church fulfill its mission to invite and equip all to follow Jesus in transforming the world. We will share updates throughout the year, as well as financial information related to how the money we give is being used for the Kingdom of God. Church Members who would like more detailed information, a monthly summary budget update, or a detailed annual budget, please contact our financial coordinator, Jackie Evrard.
Proclaiming the Gospel With Our Finances
On vacation? Unable to make it to church on Sunday? Tired of writing checks? Then online giving may be just for you. We are pleased to provide two options for electronic giving for those who would like the convenience of online banking. Each of electronic giving options is simple and secure, and regardless of which option you choose, your gifts to AUMC are tax-deductible and will appear on your annual giving statement.
Online Giving Through our Website
With online giving you can make one-time or recurring gifts by electronically debiting your gift from your checking account or by using your Visa or MasterCard credit/debit card.
Electronic Bill Pay Through Your Bank’s Website
Many people pay monthly bills through their bank’s online bill pay service. You can also use this service to give to AUMC. Just add the following to your list: Apex United Methodist Church 100 S. Hughes Street Apex, NC 27502 No account number is needed. If you’d like to specify how you want your contribution designated, you can do so in the note or memo line on the form.

Claiming God's Future
Amazing growth requires us to look beyond our weekly offerings to fund our present and future facility needs. Our church has buildings, leases and growth needs requiring generous financial contributions above and beyond regular weekly giving. The debt associated with this growth is a clear testament to our church family’s commitment to future growth and ministry. Our hallways ring with children’s songs as they learn about Jesus. Prayers of the people are raised up. Lessons of faith and compassion echo throughout our campuses. These are the sounds of a congregation that is claiming God’s future.
Finish the Campaign Strong!
How We Claim God’s Future
Claiming God’s future is a crossroads of meeting obligations and focusing on opportunities. While satisfying our debt, we can simultaneously position all of our faith communities for future growth.
We have established a goal range for this three-year capital campaign of $2.8 million to $3.5 million. The lower total of this range will provide funds sufficient to support the debt service needs of our existing obligations. The high end of this range will allow us to go beyond meeting our existing obligations by further reducing our principal debt and provide more funding for all of our needs. Since we believe in the individuality of our faith communities while embracing the strength of our unity as one church, our estimate of giving to the Claiming God’s Future campaign has the following components:
- Half of the gifts received will pay the principal and interest on our outstanding debt.
- Half of the gifts received will be designated solely for facility support at the campus where you worship.
- 10% of your gift can be allocated to support the outreach of the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) fund. If you choose this option, 90% of your gift will be allocated as outlined above.
We ask you to pray for this campaign. Seek God’s guidance on how you can share in this work. We are a growing church. Ask God to lead you in supporting this step in our church’s life.
We are Claiming God’s Future. Our work as individuals, families and communities is that of making disciples who invite and equip all to follow Jesus in transforming the world. Claim God’s future with us!
