The Apex Outreach Service Project (AOSP)

AOSP is a week of repairing homes and building faith, open to all students who have completed 8-12th grades by June 2017. Registration is currently open for adult leaders and student leaders only. Come learn what makes AOSP such an amazing week for so many of the youth and adults across our Family of Faith!

DSC_0054It’s hard to believe, but it is almost time to register for AOSP! The Apex Outreach Service Project is a week of service and ministry for youth (rising 9th grade and up) and adults from across our family of faith. During AOSP, these volunteers will go into the community as the hands and feet of God. When they arrive at their worksites—often not far from their own homes—they work to make the homes warmer, safer and drier. The families and individuals whose homes they repair do not have the physical ability and/or financial resources to make these repairs for themselves.

But AOSP is so much more than a building program – it’s about relationships. Our youth and adult volunteers will come to love the family they’ve been assigned to serve. They’ll forge friendships with each other that will impact them for years to come. Armed with a new heart for Christian service, they will begin to give back to their own families, to our church programs and to our community. For many, this experience is the first step toward a lifelong vocation of caring for others.

AOSP is also not just a youth event, it is a church mission. From project leaders to cooks, drivers, overnight chaperones and photographers, there are so many ways that the adults in our community can be a part of AOSP. It could never be successful without the help of the rest of the church family!

AOSP NEEDS YOU!

AOSP isn’t just a youth mission – it’s a ministry of our whole church! It doesn’t matter if you have a child serving or not – come be a part of this amazing week! AOSP is not possible without the help of adult leaders and parents. If you couldn’t commit to a full week of AOSP you can still help!
